Mimus
Here it is, my favorite book of all time. I LOVED this book more then I can really put into words. This book is more of a historic fiction then fantasy really, but still. Mimus is about a young prince named Florin. Florin is the soul heir to Moltovia, the kingdom where his father rules as king. But one day, the King of Vinland, Theodo, invites Florin and his father to his kingdom to feast with them for peace. But what greets them at the court of Vinland is not feasts or celebrations, but a terrifying and humiliating betrayal. With his father in chains, Florin is forced to become apprenice to Mimus, the wily and spiteful court jester. Trapped in a cold tower where he is exposed to the elements, Florin is close to despair. But then he learns of a plot that could save his kingdom from the ruthless grasp of Theodo. But can Florin save his own life before its to late?
